An experimental sound-bath of electronic art, Full Spectrum is a site-responsive performance work from multi award-winning composer and sound designer, Anna Whitaker, and projection artist, Riley Towers.

Part-performance-art-part-gig, immerse yourself in a loud and chaotic world of loops, distortions and filters made live on stage, as original music collides with live-programmed visuals.

A “love letter to AV” (Nothing Ever Happens In Brisbane), Anna and Riley invite you to a safe space to move, groove, or lay and let it all wash over you, as you take in a smorgasbord of thrilling textures for the eyes and ears, a collage of vocals and visuals.

RILEY TOWERS

Riley Towers is a multidisciplinary artist and visual designer. With an Honours degree in Interactive and Visual Design from Queensland University of Technology, Riley’s live-programmed visuals have graced performances in the electronic music scenes of Brisbane and Melbourne. Her experimental approach to live programming combines generative effects with archival footage, promising dynamic visuals that respond organically to the music.

ANNA WHITAKER

Anna Whitaker, a multi award-winning sound designer and composer based in Meanjin/Brisbane, is known for her experimental, acousmatic works, and surround sound compositions. Anna has lefther sonic imprint on productions with companies such as MONA FOMA, Sydney Dance Company, Australasian Dance Company, and more, and is the recipient of the 2020/2021 and 2019 Matilda Award for Best Sound Design.
