The bell has rung, and lunchtime is on.

Two Grade 7 boys, Kurt and Russell, embark on a banter filled break before being interrupted by Lizzie, the mysterious girl from class. As discussions of extra-terrestrial life ensue, the three begin to blow things out of proportion.

Lunchtime was a new short play developed and produced by The Black Box Collective (now Interstage)

Originating from a concept by Ewan Brown and Nicholas Southey, the play was developed through improvisation before being converted to text. Lunchtime was written, directed and performed by the founding members of The Black Box Collective, Ewan Brown, Ruby Sanders and Nicholas Southey.

Interstage assisted with pitching, marketing, production management, and creative producing.
